Never thought I’d like maths

But having worked put my ideal word count for the novel minus what I’ve written divided by how many days until end of September (ideal finish date to allow for edits and publishing for Xmas) and I should be on track with just over 700 words a day.

When you’re averaging 1800 to 2000 a day that makes it seem a little more doable

*takes a deep breath*

I think I’m going to do this 🙂

Writing a novel is a terrible experience, during which the hair often falls out and the teeth decay. I’m always irritated by people who imply that writing fiction is an escape from reality. It is a plunge into reality and it’s very shocking to the system.
